• I am a neurosurgeon, specializing in cranial and spinal surgery, from intracranial tumors, TBI, intracranial hematomas, hydrocephalus, to spinal degenerative disc disease, cervical and lumbar radiculopathy, sciatica, spondylolishesis, neurogenic claudication, cervical stenosis, cervical myelopathy, and degenerative spinal conditions.
  
  Within my life and my practice, I have embedded and enshrined the concept of cura personalis, a founding Jesuit principle of my medical School, Georgetown. Loosely translated as the “care of the whole person,” I truly believe in treating a patient as a whole person, and not just as another medical record number, not just as another pathology or disease to tackle. I believe in treating patients with the dignity and respect every single person deserves.
  
  That is why I make sure I explain in great detail what is going on, and what are the treatment options. I believe that information and education empowers the patient, and turns us into a team.
  
  I treat my patients like my family. My patients and their families know that I will always be by their side and take good care of them.
