  • Dr. Matthew Galvin is a psychiatrist in Indianapolis, IN. He began his medical career in 1970 in the Army Medical Corps as a medic. He received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 1979. He specialized in child & adolescent psychiatry. From 1984 until 1998, he was full time faculty at I.U. School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. Since 1998, He has continued to be active as a clinical associate professor, voluntary faculty for the Indiana University School of Medicine and, since 1982 has devoted his time and efforts to the I.U. Conscience Project. Since 2017, he has held offices in the American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry (ASAP) and served as vice president. He is a Life Fellow of ASAP and Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He retired from clinical practice in 2019.
