Summary

  • Mackenzie (Z) Paige L’Erario, MD, LMSW is a licensed psychotherapist and board-certified neurologist with specific interest in bridging gaps between neurological disorders and mental healthcare. My specialty is working with people who are neurodivergent, struggling with neurological disability, or who have been diagnosed with a functional or somatoform disorder, including functional neurological disorder (FND) or psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES).

My work regarding transgender healthcare has been published in numerous peer-reviewed medical journals as well as Scientific American, Social Work Today, Psychiatric Times and featured quotes in the New York Times. I have presented transgender healthcare trainings at universities and colleges throughout the world, as well as at major international medical conferences, including the American Academy of Neurology and the Child Neurology Society annual meetings. I am available for consulting and speaking engagements.
