Summary

• I have sold my practice to Dr Ricky Pratt and am in semi retirement working only one day a week at Kid Med Moss Street. My pass time now is managing a 300 blueberry bush farm with my stepson. Last year we picked 1200 pounds, well not directly but thru pick and pay. Our place is called Bluesberry Fields, notice blues not blue berries, old folks might remember the Beatles Strawberry Fields song of the 60's. Check out the web site Bluesberryfields.com. The season is about 5 or 6 weeks long and we have serious Blues bands playing from 5 to 7 pm every Sunday in June sometimes into the first weekend in July. We serve for a modest price BBQ chicken dinner or my famous smoked brisket sandwich (proclaimed as the best smoked brisket in Louisiana) proclaimed by a hardcore Texan my brother in law. We also have hamburgers and hot dogs for the kids. I once a smoked a whole small pig ( couchon de lait). There are games for kids to play and drinks as well.
