Board certified Cardiologist with interest and research focus on examining social determinants of health and eliminating disparities in cardiovascular disease, specifically, hypertension and heart failure, palliative care in heart failure, diversity in clinical trials, and cardiovascular disease in women. As a cardiovascular epidemiologist, I seek to forge links between preventive medicine, public policy, quality improvement and scientific research.
