  • Dr. Dweck, a native New Yorker and Princeton University graduate, has practiced in New York City since 1997. She is currently an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and the Department of Medical Education at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In 2019, she was appointed Director of Career Planning Services for Mount Sinai medical students and has also served as a Faculty Advisor since 2017. Dr. Dweck has been selected as an Innovation Leader for the Mount Sinai venture, the Diversity Innovation Hub.

    Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Dweck served as Director of Oculoplastic Surgery, Vice Chair and Residency Program Director in the Department of Ophthalmology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is affiliated with New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Her particular areas of interest include eyelid, orbital and tearing problems and surgery in both children and adults.

    Dr. Dweck is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, National Medical Association and American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Dweck is a board member of the New York State Board of Medicine.

    Among numerous honors and awards, US News and World Report has listed her annually since its “Top Doctor” inaugural listing in 2011. She has been named yearly in Castle Connolly “New York Metro Best Doctors” issues since 2000. The New York Times Magazine has included her on an annual basis in their "New York Super Doctors" since 2009. In 2019 and 2020, she was
    received the "Exceptional Women in Medicine" award from Castle Connolly Medical.
