In 2014 he co-founded the HEAL Initiative at UCSF, a global health delivery fellowship program that trains and transforms front line health providers to make service to the poor their first career choice. After 3 years of operation, the HEAL Initiative has over 100 fellows working with partner organizations in 7 countries, seeing nearly 1,000,000 patient visits per year. In 2018, Dr. Le co-founded Arc Health, the first company in the medical staffing industry to focus singularly on achieving health equity through the recruitment and retention of human resources for health in underserved populations.
