The practice is limited to the treatment of disorders of the retina, macula and vitreous. The practice actively participates in multiple clinical trials encompassing multiple retinal disorders. He is affiliated with the Meritus Medical Center where he has served as the chief of the Division of Ophthalmology. Dr. Parnes received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his medical doctor degree and completed his residency training at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. He completed a surgical retina fellowship at Retina Associates of Cleveland /The Mount SinaiMedical Center, Cleveland. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member and fellow of the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has 10 peer reviewed publications and has been in practice for 28 years.
