Summary

• Dr. Sandeep Sharma is a nephrologist in Fredericksburg, VA. He received his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine after which he completed residencies in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine before completing his Nephrology Fellowship in 2005. Following that training, he sub-specialized in Interventional Nephrology and has since performed over 16,000 dialysis access-related procedures since 2005.
  
  He was the the first nephrologist in Pennsylvania to create a fistula by percutaneous technique and is the first physician in the Fredericksburg region to have done so as well.
  
  He is active within the nephrology community providing educational lectures to dialysis unit staff members and has served on the board of the National Kidney Foundation for over 15 years. He actively supports and works with the Wounded Warrior Project as well.
