His leadership has advanced clinical outcomes, improved quality performance metrics, and established new real world and health economic requirements to strengthen population health and access to care.
Dr. Bhavnani has served as Senior Medical Officer at the FDA’s Digital Health Center of Excellence, where he led national policy on AI, digital therapeutics, and equity in medical devices, and contributed to reforms in regulatory strategy, payment, and the design of new models of care delivery. Notable recognition for his work includes being named among the "40 under 40" by San Diego.
