I take care of children and adults in Salt Lake City. I am currently Senior Consultant to the Supportive Oncology and Survivorship Program at the Huntsman Cancer Institute; Chief of Holistic Medicine at the VA Salt Lake City Health Care System; and a pain medicine and palliative care consultant at Primary Children's Medical Center. I serve on the Pain and Palliative Care Guidelines Panels of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. I am a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. I have held a license in massage therapy for over 35 years and continue studies in complementary/alternative medicine.
My research has focused on neuropathic pain, opioids and novel nonopioid analgesics.
I have a background in the performing arts. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially in the outdoors, dancing and making music.
