Dr. Sheetal Patel is a board certified general surgeon and a fellowship trained minimally invasive and bariatric surgeon. Dr. Patel performs a wide range of general surgical procedures using laparoscopic (minimally invasive) techniques. She uses the Da Vinci Robotic System to perform robotic weight loss procedures, foregut surgery such as hiatal and paraesophageal hernias.
Dr. Patel endeavors to provide her patients with understanding and support throughout the entire surgical process. The decision to have surgery is an important and difficult one. She aims to provide thorough, up to date information, and help guide you to make the best decisions. After surgery, she will follow your progress closely to ensure a rapid and comfortable recovery. She believes the key to weight loss success is comprehensive post operative care. Clients have full access to Dr. Patel, the therapist, and dietitians via email, phone calls and face to face consultations at any time after surgery.
