Summary

  • After spending over 20 years practicing Emergency Medicine in rural Alabama, I went back to UAB to complete a Fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. I now practice at the Birmingham VA where I also enjoy teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

    Since 2006 I have hosted a podcast called Brain Science. It can be found in Apple Podcasts, Google podcasts, and at http://brainsciencepodcast.com. The goal of this show is to bring accurate information about neuroscience to listeners of all backgrounds AND to improve public understanding of how science really works.
