Board certified in ophthalmology, fellowship and preceptorship trained in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery, and trained in many of the current techniques in cosmetic surgery of the face and body, my 32 years and over 32,000 hours of surgical experience allow me an unusual breadth and depth of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical experience. I have 20 years of tumescent liposuction experience and 17 years of autologous fat grafting experience. I have lectured about and taught facial fat grafting nationally and internationally, and maintain a very active fat grafting practice, in addition to cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid and facial surgery. The future of autologous fat grafting and adipose derived stem cell therapies is astounding, and has almost limitless potential for creative healing.
