Summary
- I am a board-certified internist who is building a multi-site, multi-state concierge primary care practice where physicians, patients and the support team all thrive. Our mission is to support patients on their health journey - body, mind and spirit - so they can live their best life.
The first half of my career was in academic medicine, with a particular interest on the development of medical students' clinical skills. We developed core curriculum content in teaching communication and physical examination across the continuum of their education.
My clinical work had two arms - one was a internal medicine practice rooted in the South Side of Chicago. The other was being the medical director of the executive physical practice, were we gathered comprehensive data on patients' health status and gave them guidance on how to use their habits to influence their health.
After a five year stint as founder and president of a wellness company, in 2016 I opened Harper Health where our vision is to elevate the standard of how people should be cared for. Those people include the patients as well as the team who cares for them. Everyone should be treated with dignity. We should be forceful advocates for their best interest. And we should be thoughtful and discerning about how to apply both best practice and innovation to help people achieve their best life.
We started in 2016 in the Streeterville neighborhood of Chicago, and have added three locations with more on the way. We love what we're doing and are always looking for the right kind of person to join us on our journey. Is that you? Reach out to me at will@harper-health.com if you think it might be.
