Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, Virginia, is searching for BC/BE Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician with or without interest in Sleep Medicine.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal candidate is board certified in both Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care to provide direct care to complex and critically ill patients. Board certification in Sleep Medicine desirable. The current team consists of four physicians with a mixed schedule of outpatient clinic, critical care unit coverage and floor/ED consultations. There is a strong partnership with the hospitalist team and solid legacy of referral sources. Responsibilities include preparing admissions, performing the initial evaluation and physical exams, conducting approved diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ordering laboratory studies and professional consultations and prescribing appropriate interventions and medications.

  • One weekday call night M-F and shared 1:5 weekend rotation.
