Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performing comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical examinations
  • Interpreting laboratory and diagnostic procedures to establish a working diagnosis
  • Implementing therapeutic intervention for specific conditions
  • Ordering and performing diagnostic procedures and studies, such as EMG, Electrocardiogram, Compartment pressure measurements, X-ray examinations, CT, MRI, and bone scans
  • Performing procedures like regional anesthesia and digital blocks
  • Performing minor outpatient procedures, such as hardware removal, incision and drainage, K-wire removal, percutaneous pinning of fractures, tendon repair, wound closure, wound debridement, needle biopsy, wound management
  • Performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as brace, cast, and splint applications, closed reduction of fractures and dislocations, injection of joints, joint and bursa aspirations, tendons, trigger points and bursa

Required Qualifications:

  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of New Jersey or has New Jersey application in process
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Active New Jersey CDS license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • You will be provisioned with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and are required to perform this role with patients and members on site, as this is an essential function of this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of experience working as a Physician Assistant outside of clinical rotations/training
