Physician Assistant | Focus on Patient Care with Optum

Job Summary: Work collaboratively with established providers in a primary care outpatient setting. Evaluates, diagnoses and treats a variety of medical conditions in an outpatient clinical setting. This position will not maintain its own practice but, will see same day/ over flow patients that need to be seen acutely.

Prescribes and administers medications, provides advice regarding their personal health and wellness, and may perform minor procedures, as required. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. All new providers are assigned a mentor for their first six months.

Requirements: current Washington state license, Washington state DEA, board-certification and AHA-BLS certification. 2+ years’ experience in Primary Care or Acute Care setting preferred.

This full-time position includes variable hours between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Four 10-hour days) and No call.
