The department

The MFM  division at the University of Kansas Health System consists of 5 experienced specialists who provide the entire spectrum of Maternal-Fetal care with cutting-edge technology. The Division supports a fully accredited ACGME MFM Fellowship, currently with 3 fellows.

The position

  • Maintain an MFM ambulatory service 2 half days per week
  • Management of high-risk service 1 week in 6
  • Interpret obstetrical ultrasounds
  • Perform obstetrical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Patient-care duties may involve training medical students, residents, or fellows
  • Deliver lectures to faculty, fellows, and residents
  • Teach in clinics and inpatient service to residents, fellows and medical students

Qualifications

  • Board Certified/eligible in obstetrics & gynecology and maternal-fetal medicine
  • Eligible for Kansas and Missouri medical license
  • Experience in Maternal Fetal Medicine
