Cook Children's Physician Network, based in Fort Worth, Texas, has an exciting PRN opportunity for a board certified/board eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician. This physician will see patients in our Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic in Abilene, Texas.
The addition of a Maternal Fetal Medicine program has allowed Cook Children’s to offer not only quality care for the mother, but ongoing care for a child in need. When a high risk diagnosis is made, we are able to coordinate specialty care with a number of specialists during the pregnancy and after delivery. This process makes the integrated care of the child as easy as possible for both the child and their families.
Cook Children's Medical Center is one of the largest children's hospitals in the nation covering more than 530,000 square feet with 443 licensed beds. Our professional staff of nurses, technologists, therapists and other clinicians work alongside more than 500 physicians and dentists who provide primary, secondary, tertiary and quaternary levels of pediatric care. They, along with our Child Life staff, chaplains, teachers, social services coordinators and translators work to help our patients and families cope with the stress that accompanies a child's hospitalization. Physician must have completed a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship and be board certified/board eligible in maternal fetal medicine and able to secure an unrestricted Texas medical license.
