Physician – Geriatrics, Abington Jefferson Health
Abington - Jefferson Health, located in Abington, Pennsylvania, has a full-time opportunity for a Physician in Geriatrics. Candidates should be board certified in internal medicine (or family medicine) and geriatrics, having completed an accredited residency in internal medicine or family medicine plus geriatrics fellowship.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing outpatient primary care in our faculty practice as well as consultation to geriatric patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Following nursing home and assisted living patients in affiliated long term care facilities
- Supervising and teaching medical students, internal medicine residents and geriatric medicine fellows in ambulatory, hospital and long term care settings. The physician will be a key clinical faculty member for our geriatrics fellowship program. Faculty appointment at affiliated medical schools including Jefferson is available.
