IU Health Medical Director Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician (Saxony Hospital)

IU Health Physicians is seeking an exceptional physician- leader as the <strong>Medical Director Pulmonary/Critical Care </strong>to build and create the Critical Care team at IU Health Saxony Hospital.  The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care is growing to provide inpatient and outpatient services at this location within the residential and commercial development known as Saxony in a rapidly growing community of Fishers, Indiana. The Medical Director will have leadership responsibilities to lead, manage and promote the division's patient care, quality and program growth.  

Job Details

• Day schedule: Monday-Friday; and would transition over several years to sharing outpatient and inpatient with physician partners; every fourth weekend inpatient coverage and one night of call weekly
• To start the practice will be roughly 50% inpatient in ICU and 50% outpatient in pulmonary clinic  
• Practice location: IU Health Saxony Hospital 
• Academic appointment at IUSOM with teaching opportunities
• Procedures include intubations, chest tubes, and bronchoscopies 
• Collaboration with APP's as part of a partnership with hospitalists 

Qualifications

• Must be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care
• BC in Internal Medicine
• Experienced providers only 

Compensation

• Strong compensation includes base salary, productivity incentive and 5 days of CME and 4 weeks' vacation
