Pediatric Intensivist - Medical Director

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced BC Pediatric Intensivist to lead a multidisciplinary team as Medical Director at Blythedale Children's Hospital!

Work at one of the largest specialty children’s hospitals in the country caring for sub-acute pediatric critical care patients. Direct a multidisciplinary team that works in a friendly, family-oriented environment to improve patient outcomes.

The Program Medical Director will have both clinical and administrative responsibilities and oversee a team of experienced pediatric hospitalists and pediatric nurse practitioners, at Blythedale Children’s Hospital.

• Monday through Friday daytime schedule, working with long-term and sub-acute neonatal and pediatric patients, and coordinating clinical care with a multidisciplinary team that includes neonatal Telehealth support and pediatric subspecialty support from renown Children’s Hospitals in New York.
• Involved in research activities and collaborates with educational institutions to advance medical knowledge and improve patient care.
• Lead coordination of care and outreach activities with affiliated children’s hospitals.
• Qualities required for the Medical Director are a commitment to clinical excellence and working collaboratively; excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Board Certification and recent experience in Pediatric Critical Care required; leadership experience required
