6 reviews collected from current residents and alumni.- Convenient Online Program & Passionate Professors The online post-BSN to DNP program allowed flexibility for students to complete work at their convenience. We had students from several states and from different backgrounds that diversified our learning experience. The professors were passionate about their professions and advancing the nursing profession, always looking for ways to connect students to inspiring mentors. Loyola nursing programs have gone through structural changes, but have maintained high standards. - Alum
- Excellent School When I was a student in class learning was the main source of teaching. this was a burden at times, as i was working full time and going to school full time. The one good thing about in class learning, was that i got to know so many people who i still stay in contact with today. The faculty was excellent. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable . I was well prepared to take my boards and work as a FNP after graduating this program - Alum
- Overall Loyal university of New Orleans was great. It wasn’t bad trying to find family medicine providers to take me but it was hard to find a women’s health and peds preceptor. I’m you have to start working on finding these preceptors early on and nail them down asap or it will be hard to find them when the semester comes. - Alum
- Great program The program prepared me adequately for boards. I was able to work 3 days a week and go to practicum 2 days a week on average. The school did not assist with preceptor placement. I had most of my preceptors lined up prior to starting the program. Finding appropriate preceptors was the biggest obstacle for most students. - Alum
- It was great as a small program I attended when the program was small and in person. The class work and clinical requirements were manageable and at the time it was easy to find clinical preceptors. - Alum
