    Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a qualified Urologist to join our staff.

     

    Description

    Bassett Healthcare Network is an integrated health care system that provides care and service to people living in an eight-county region covering 5,600 square miles in Central New York.  The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields. 

     

    Job Description & Responsibilities

    ·         Join an established group of 3 MD’s and 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians

    ·         180 Bed Primary Hospital with Level III Trauma Center

    ·         Instant Referral Base provided by over 100 Primary Care Clinicians

    ·         Full Support Staff including APCs with Surgical Residents and Medical Student Interaction

    ·         Call Responsibility limited to Primary Hospital with APC’s taking 1st Inpatient Call

    ·         State of the Art ORs with one devoted to the Xi DaVinci Surgical System

    ·         Salary Range: $515,000 - $619,000 with significant incentive potential. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards

    ·         Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.

    ·         Sign-on Bonus up to $200K

    ·         Residency stipend up to $60,000 available up to 18 months prior to graduation. If applicable, candidate must be permitted to receive the stipend under U.S. immigration laws

    ·         Group Employed Model

    Job Qualifications

    ·         MD, DO or MBBS

    ·         Board Eligible or Board Certified

    ·         New York State Licensure

    ·         BLS Certification Required

    ·         DEA Required
