What You’ll Do

· Deliver high-quality care to patients with acute and chronic conditions

· Promote wellness and preventive health

· Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams

· Perform in-office procedures, prescribe medications, and manage diagnostics

· Engage in quality initiatives and team development

· Respond to emergencies and support patient safety

· Maintain strict confidentiality in alignment with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines and InterMed policies.

· Perform other duties to support the mission, vision and values of InterMed.

What You Bring

· 2+ Years of experience post-graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN – Master of Science in Nursing, DNP – Doctor of Nursing Practice) or Physician Assistant program (MPAS – Master of Physician Assistant Studies, MSPA – Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, MHS – Master of Health Science (PA)) preferred.

· Active or pending, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Maine.

· Board Certification.

· Active or pending DEA Certification in the state of Maine.

· Active BLS certification.

· Maintain continuing education appropriate for scope of practice and licensure.
