Rochester General Hospital, part of Rochester Regional Health, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency General Surgeon to join our dedicated team. As an Emergency General Surgeon, you will play a vital role in providing urgent surgical care to patients presenting with acute surgical conditions in our emergency department and hospital. Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery.
• Completion of a residency training program in General Surgery.
• Fellowship training or significant experience in Emergency General Surgery preferred.
• Valid medical license and unrestricted ability to practice medicine in New York State the designated jurisdiction.
• Excellent clinical skills with a proven track record of managing surgical emergencies effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, professionalism, and continuous quality improvement.
• Ability to adapt to high-pressure situations and make sound clinical decisions in emergent settings.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and flexible scheduling as needed.
