The Opportunity

OB Hospitalist Group is seeking an OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. As an OBHG Hospitalist, you'll be the in-house expert managing obstetric emergencies and improving patient safety and satisfaction, working collaboratively with local obstetricians to ensure every pregnant patient who presents to the hospital receives care from an experienced physician, every time.

We're looking for an OB/GYN with strong clinical and communication skills, a passion for healthcare quality improvement, and a desire to help shape the future of the specialty.

Schedule & Lifestyle

• 24-hour shifts (1-7 shifts per month)
• No on-call duty, no office management
• About 21 days off per month

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $96,720, $338,520

SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale is nationally recognized for patient experience. The Birthing Center offers a comfortable environment with private rooms, low lighting, infant warmers, television, and all necessary monitoring equipment, along with specially equipped operating rooms for Cesarean births and 24/7 delivery services, including anesthesia. SIH Memorial was the first hospital outside of Chicago designated as a Level II Plus Special Care Nursery, and the hospital sees approximately 2,100 annual deliveries.
