A hospital-based OB/GYN program in Santa Cruz is rebuilding its service line and looking for a physician who wants to be part of shaping what it becomes. The delivery volume is manageable, the midwife support is strong, and the clinical resources behind this program, including a Da Vinci robotic system and a Stanford Medicine-affiliated NICU, are serious. This is a role with real substance in one of the more desirable coastal communities in California.

Practice Details

• Hospital-employed OB/GYN group with a practice mix of approximately 70 percent obstetrics and 30 percent gynecology
• Supported by 7 Certified Nurse Midwives with a shared OB and CNM in-house call model
• Robotic surgery access with a Da Vinci system and NICU staffed by Stanford Medicine neonatologists
• The Family Medicine residency program provides additional OB patient support

Schedule

• Approximately 3.5 clinic days per week
• Four 24-hour in-house call shifts per month with a post-call day off built into the schedule
• Option to transition into part-time work if desired
