Family Medicine Physician to join our Family Medicine Residency Program in Gadsden, Alabama as **Core Faculty.
Position Highlights:
- Practice and teach comprehensive family medicine, including newborn and pediatric care, adult medicine, and geriatrics.
- Provide clinical supervision of residents in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Provide clinical supervision in the inpatient hospital setting (1 week/4-5 weeks)
- Participate in weekly didactic lectures, including procedural and clinical workshops.
- Serve as a resident advisor, mentor, and role model

Family Medicine Residency Program
The Gadsden Regional Medical Center Family Residency Program was founded and accredited in 2020-2021 with our first residents starting in 2022. The first residency class graduated in June 2025. We are an 8-8-8, unopposed community-based program. The new family medicine continuity clinic, Foothills Family Medicine, is located across the street from the hospital. Spanning 16,000 square feet, this clinic includes faculty offices, 26 clinic rooms inclusive of four procedure rooms, lab, preceptor room, large classroom, and a resident gym. Residents rotate in a variety of settings throughout Gadsden, including our Federally Qualified Health Center partner, Quality of Life, which is the largest FQHC in Alabama. Our residents also rotate through Mountain View Hospital for child and adolescent inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, as well as Etowah County Public Health Department, and multiple local physician practices. Our current faculty has over 80 years of cumulative teaching experience.
