Gastroenterology Locums in South Carolina

- Gastroenterology 

• # of Hospital beds: 350+
• 7a to 7a Sunday-Monday coverage.  24-hour call + 8 hours in house each day
• GI provider needed for asap and remainder of 2025, strong extension all of 2026
• Job Duties: Rounding + Consults + Inpatient procedures as needed
• General Gastroenterology procedures: manage basic Cirrhosis, Crohn's, Pancreatitis, upper lower colonoscopies, remove polyps etc
• 6 endoscopy rooms are located in the main hospital. They are shared with pulmonology and occasionally General Surgeon placing PEG Tubes with EGD. GI Providers have first dibs on block time due to volume. 
• 7-10 inpatients per day
• 0-5 procedures per day
• 3-5 consults per day
• ERCP required
• EUS is NOT required
• Mondays are busy otherwise they can be in and out of there in 6 hours or less.

·        Sept 1 to Sept 5

·        Sept 15 to Sept 21

·        Sept 29 to Oct 5

·        Oct 13 to Oct 19

·        Nov 1 to Nov 6

·        Nov 17 to Nov 30

·        Dec 15 to Jan 4

·        Ongoing into 2026
