California Applicant Privacy Act:  [https://www.teamhealth.com/california-applicant-privacy-notice/](http://TeamHealth is seeking a core faculty member for our MountainView Hospital Internal Medicine GME program in partnership with HCA GME, located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The ideal clinician will be a board certified internal medicine (IM) physician with academic experience, a passion for teaching, and resident development. Research background, simulation education, bedside procedural skills, prior GME administrative experience, and Point-Of-Care Ultra Sonography (POCUS) knowledge is an additional benefit.

The position entails Monday through Friday teaching rounds with residents and one or two paid weekends. Clinician will work with 3-5 residents in a traditional team based teaching setting. The academic Hospitalist supervises resident's clinical work until they are capped after which admissions are taken by separate non-GME team. This internal medicine residency was established in 2016 and has grown to a 66 resident internal medicine (IM) program with 13 residents in the transitional year program. There are five providers (all ABIM Board certified) that serve as core faculty for the five teaching teams. Additional boarded physicians serve for cross coverage and overflow patients and admitting physicians.
