Canada needs a Medical Oncologist (Breast Cancer)

Our search firm is seeking an Academic Medical Oncologist in breast cancer on behalf of our client, CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB), located in Winnipeg, Canada. This is a clinical leadership opportunity working within a comprehensive cancer centre and a multi-disciplinary disease site-group model of care, and an opportunity to advance breast cancer treatment in Manitoba.

The Dept. of Medical Oncology & Hematology resides in a state-of-the-art clinical outpatient and cancer research facility. As a full-service facility combining clinical care, clinical trials, and cancer research, the Medical Oncologist will join a highly collaborative environment. CCMB consists of:

1. 4 sites in Winnipeg (plus a 5th screening program site)
2. a large site in Brandon;
3. 16 other sites across Manitoba.

Medical Oncologists hold privileges at teaching hospitals and are appointed to the University of Manitoba’s Rady Faculty of Health Sciences. CCMB also manages an accredited Postgraduate program for Medical Oncology.
