Job Description:

Connecticut Children’s is actively seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist to join our growing Division of Pediatric Cardiology.

Desired Skills/Experience:

·       Strong clinical and interpersonal skills

·       Commitment to evidence-based practice

·       Interest and experience in academic medicine, including teaching and research, as well as regional and national representation in conferences and committees

·       Strong leadership capabilities with ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

 

Required Qualifications:

·       MD or DO

·       Completion of an accredited pediatric cardiology fellowship program with Board Eligibility/Board Certification in Pediatric Cardiology

·       Eligibility for licensure and registration for medical practice in the State of Connecticut

CT Children’s opened a new eight-story medical tower in December 2025 with a new 50-bed NICU and facilities for a 14-bed Acuity-Adaptable Unit, a Fetal Care Center with labor and delivery rooms and dedicated operating rooms, an Advanced Cellular Gene therapy Unit, an expanded pharmacy, and other clinical spaces and services. Our team of pediatric cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons at CT Children’s is dedicated to high quality patient care delivery.  The group strongly values collaboration and communication, forming a positive, patient-focused work environment.  CT Children’s is home to the University of Connecticut School of Medicine Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program and also provides training for medical students, residents, and fellows in maternal fetal medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, and adult cardiology.  About the Location:
