  • Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute seeks experienced General Cardiologists with expertise in either Noninvasive or Invasive cardiology to join our team in Central Florida. We are seeking physicians who possess excellent clinical skills and a genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care.

    Role Requirements:

    • Call 1:4 weekends
    • Invasive - mix of outpatient and inpatient rounding.
    • Non-Invasive - mix of outpatient and inpatient rounding OR full outpatient clinic without inpatient care.
    • Completion of ACGME accredited cardiovascular fellowship.
    • BC/BE in Cardiology
    • BC in Echo, Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT is welcomed.
    • Invasive - Catheterization skills is required.
    • Unrestricted FL medical license (or ability to obtain one) and DEA.
    • Commitment to patient care: Physicians should demonstrate a genuine dedication to delivering high-quality patient care and improving patient outcomes.
    • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer. No sponsorship is available for this position.
    • Bilingual/Spanish-speaking candidate is desirable.

    Optional:

    OHHVI supports the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute Sports Medicine program. If interested in Sports Medicine Cardiology, the candidate should have experience in clearing patients for active sports from a cardiovascular perspective and managing cardiac problems to permit an active lifestyle.

    Practice Information: Orlando Health Heart & Vascular Institute (OHHVI), is a US News Top 50 Heart & Vascular Sx for 2023-24. Our team offer specialty services in Interventional, Structural, Electrophysiology, General Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and Cardiothoracic Surgery. OHHVI is part of Orlando Health. We offer fellowship training in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced cardiac imaging. OHHVI is committed to the success of its physicians. Physicians have a care team including Medical Assistants, RNs, and APPs. There is a centralized support team of call center, triage nurses, and schedulers.
