  • Phoenix Children’s is currently seeking Family Nurse Practitioner or PA Hematology. This position will offer new and exciting cutting edge therapy as we are moving to gene therapy opportunities as well as a lot of growth and medical development.

    This is a great opportunity to witness and experience growth and medical development in the field of Hematology. Prior pediatric hematology experience is preferred although not required.

    This APP position will have primary responsibility for the benign hematology patient population. The successful provider will have responsibility for outpatient patient care for both pediatric and adult hematology patients. Outpatient duties would include evaluating patients in the clinic setting, ordering medications and necessary blood products, managing outpatient prescriptions and home care orders, educating patients and their families on active issues and therapeutic changes, interacting with appropriate consultants, assisting with data monitoring related to this patient population, and scheduling appropriate follow up for patients.

    The successful individual is expected to work collaboratively with other providers within the hematology team and the broader CCBD to help with the completion of projects as they are identified. Participation in focused quality or research projects, in conjunction with the hematology team, is also encouraged.
