Hematology/Oncology Physician | $575K–$673K + Sign-On | Exceptional Work-Life Balance in Illinois

Job Summary:

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a highly respected and rapidly growing oncology program at the Patricia D. Pepe Center for Cancer Care in Rockford, Illinois.

This opportunity offers the ability to practice comprehensive oncology care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer center connected to OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center. Physicians will join an established team of five hematology/oncology physicians, three APPs, two radiation oncologists, and additional surgical and specialty support providers.

The practice includes regional outreach through satellite clinics located within 60 miles of the Center for Cancer Care, allowing physicians to make a meaningful impact across Northern Illinois communities while maintaining excellent work-life balance through equally shared call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology and hematology care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary cancer care teams including radiation oncology, surgery, genetics, navigation, and supportive care services
• Participate in clinical trials and evidence-based treatment initiatives
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced therapies and technologies
• Support regional outreach initiatives through satellite clinic coverage
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
• Contribute to patient-centered care in a nationally recognized cancer program

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
• Strong clinical and interpersonal communication skills
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care

Compensation:

• Base salary range: $575,000 – $673,000
• Additional incentives and bonus opportunities may apply
