Infectious Disease Opportunity in Northwest GA

Vitruvian Health and Hamilton Medical Center (HMC) are recruiting an Infectious Disease Physician for Hamilton Medical Center.

Qualified candidates:

1. Board Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infections Disease.
2. Excellent communication skills for clear, compassionate interactions with diverse patients including care for patients with HIV.
3. Ideal candidate should enjoy teaching and feel comfortable mentoring residents in a collaborative learning environment.
4. Ability to work as a team member and establish strong relationships with fellow members of medical staff, hospital and clinical staff.
5. Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care.

Department Overview:

1. Schedule: 3-4 half days in clinic per week and hospital consults
2. Volume consists of 70% Inpatient and 30% Outpatient
3. Academic center with opportunities to participate with internal medicine and family medicine residency program
4. Involvement in the expanding of outreach clinics in the surrounding area.
