Assistant Professor – Family Medicine Residency Programs Woodwinds Hospital & St. John’s Hospital
The University of Minnesota seeks talented Family Medicine clinicians for full-time faculty positions (75%-100% appointment) in our Residency Programs at both Woodwinds and St. John’s Hospitals.
In these roles, you will provide clinical instruction and oversight to residents and medical students in ambulatory and hospital settings, deliver didactic sessions (seminars, lectures, workshops, grand rounds), mentor trainees, develop and evaluate curriculum, and participate in administrative duties including committees, accreditation reviews, and professional meetings. Opportunities exist for faculty development and scholarly activities.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO with completion of a Family Medicine residency
- Board certification/eligibility and Minnesota licensure (or eligibility)

Compensation Details
$210-230k
This role is dually employed by the University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians. Salary at the University of Minnesota is dependent upon academic effort of the person hired, and begins at $52,000. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through University of Minnesota Physicians. Total salary will be in the range of $210,000 - $230,000. Total salary will be dependent on taking medicine and/or OB call, years of experience, and rank. Total salary is competitive with market and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Opportunities for additional compensation are available via the department's incentive pay plan.
