  • SpineSearch is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join a growing breast surgery practice in a fully outpatient, clinic-based role. This position focuses on providing comprehensive care to patients with both malignant and benign breast conditions, working closely with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for an NP interested in women’s health and oncology in a structured, non-surgical setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Outpatient Clinical Duties:

    • Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations independently and in collaboration with the surgeon
    • Support breast cancer surveillance and management of benign breast conditions
    • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care
    • Manage patient calls, portal messages, prescription refills, and overall care coordination
    • Document all patient encounters, treatment plans, and communications in the EMR
    • Monitor patient progress and ensure continuity of care throughout treatment

    Administrative & Team-Based Care:

    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical oncology, radiation oncology, genetics, and nursing
    • Participate in case discussions and care coordination to optimize patient outcomes
    • Assist with quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development as needed
    • Maintain compliance with all institutional, state, and federal regulations

    Qualifications:

    • Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
    • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, WHNP, or related)
    • Active or eligible for New York State licensure
    • DEA license (or ability to obtain)
    • BLS certification (ACLS preferred or ability to obtain)
    • Prior experience in women’s health, oncology, or surgery preferred; strong new graduates with relevant clinical rotations will be considered
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills
    • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
