  • Phoenix Children's is currently seeking a full-time Pediatric Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join their growing team right here in Phoenix!

    Job Responsibilities

    1. Provide specialized orthopedic care to pediatric patients with sports-related injuries, fractures, and musculoskeletal conditions.
    2. Perform surgical interventions, including arthroscopy and other advanced procedures, tailored to the unique needs of children and adolescents
    3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatricians, physical therapists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
    4. Actively participate in research, contribute to medical education programs, and stay abreast of advancements in pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine.
    5. Engage in community outreach programs to promote pediatric musculoskeletal health and injury prevention

    Job Qualifications

    1. Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
    2. Fellowship training in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
    3. Proven experience in managing pediatric sports-related injuries and conditions
    4. Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to pediatric patient care
    5. Commitment to academic excellence, research, and participation in educational initiatives

    Phoenix Children’s is a free-standing children’s hospital that provides inpatient, outpatient, trauma, and emergency care across over 75 subspecialties. Currently, there are 3 pediatric residency programs with 34 pediatric residency spots per year and over 75 fellows and post-doctoral trainees in 29 fellowship programs.
