Locums Hematology/Oncology - Connecticut - Physician Assignment
*Seeking a Hematology/Oncology specialist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Connecticut. Enjoy proximity to major cities for your travel convenience. *
Practice Setting
- 4 days outpatient work, 1 in 3 call schedule.
- Work alongside Radiation Oncologists.
- In and outpatient settings for both Hematology and Oncology.
Schedule
- Outpatient: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30am-5pm.
- On-call rotation: 1:3 evenings and weekends.
Cases and Procedures
- Participation in Tumor Board — ordering tests and images.
- Managing approximately 15-16 outpatient visits daily.
- Hospital call coverage for 1-5 patients a day.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology.
- Connecticut license and BLS certification required.
- Self-Query NPDB report required with submission.
Travel Accommodations
- Local providers preferred — only mileage reimbursed.
