SUMMARY: This fully remote position offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive primary care services via a virtual platform. The clinician will provide diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, preventive care, and care coordination in a telehealth setting. Patients requiring in-person procedures or exams will be directed to local urgent care or partner facilities. Candidates should have a background in either family medicine or internal medicine. The following outlines the general responsibilities and expectations for this role.

• Conduct virtual health assessments and physical exams using appropriate telemedicine tools.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, imaging, and lab work to evaluate patient conditions.
• Diagnose and manage a range of acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
• Prescribe medications and treatments in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle, and wellness.
• Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records.
• Discuss diagnoses and treatment plans with patients and families to ensure understanding and adherence.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and virtual team meetings.
• Provide cross-coverage within the virtual primary care team as needed.
• Promote a team-based approach to patient care within the virtual environment.
• Graduate of an accredited medical school or physician assistant/nurse practitioner program.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted medical, PA, or NP license.
• Minimum of 3 years of primary care experience preferred.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and telehealth platforms for clinical documentation.
