Practice Setting

• Large 600+ bed hospital with Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma
• Team includes 5 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers
• Mix of adult and pediatric patients
• No admissions required

Schedule

• Scheduled clinical hours plus rotating call
• 1:4–1:5 call rotation for nights and weekends
• One full-time and one part-time PA need; minimum 2 weeks/month required
• Ongoing coverage for a long-term vacancy

Cases and Procedures

• First assist in neurosurgical procedures
• Inpatient rounding and perioperative care
• Exposure to both adult and pediatric neurosurgery cases

Requirements

• Active Florida license required
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Must be able to practice without hospital privileges
