Setting: Inpatient • Emergency • Level III Trauma EMR: EPIC

Longmont United Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible General Surgeon to provide 24-hour call coverage in January 2026. This is an intermittent locums assignment with 3–4 shifts/month across the full pool.

January 23 (7a) – January 26 (7a) Ongoing monthly shifts expected.

• 24-hour call (7a–7a) – weekdays & weekends
• Manage general surgery consults & emergencies
• Support Level III Trauma surgical needs
• No upper/lower endoscopy required
• Collaborate with Echo, Lab, Nuclear, and X-Ray techs
• Complete documentation in EPIC
• Board Certified OR Truly Board Eligible (0–5 yrs post-residency)
• Active CO License or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
• Active ATLS
• DEA preferred (Required for credentialing; transfers allowed)
• Clean malpractice/background strongly preferred
• Must complete required EPIC training modules before start
• Must agree to stay at the hospital’s preferred hotel when available
