    Are you a skilled and compassionate anesthesiologist looking for an exciting opportunity? Corewell Health, Michigan’s largest health system, is seeking full time and part time anesthesiologists to join our dedicated team.

    Competitive compensation package includes annual compensation of up to $579,000 – and a $75,000 starting bonus. We are seeking passionate providers who are interested in building a new future for anesthesia services at Corewell Health. 

    Opportunity Highlights 

    • A variety of opportunities are available, from level 1 trauma to ambulatory surgery to critical access hospital sites. Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is a quaternary care center.  
    • Diverse cases in many different specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, neurosurgery, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, and more. 
    • 10 weeks of nonscheduled time included in work expectation. 
    • Manageable call expectations, including 1:4 weekend coverage. 

    Positions are available in the city, suburbs, on the lakeshore, and every place in between: Big Rapids, Grand Haven, Grand Rapids, Greenville, Reed City, and Zeeland.

    CME allowance of $2,500 annually with rollover of unused funds with an annual maximum of $5,000.

    Qualifications

    • Required Doctorate
    • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or
    • LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
    • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
    • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
    • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
    • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required
