Neurology Movement Disorder Physician | Banner University Medicine | University of Arizona

Position Overview

The Department of Neurology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson, in collaboration with Banner - University Medicine Tucson, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with fellowship training or clinical experience in Movement Disorders to join our esteemed clinical faculty. This is an outstanding opportunity to provide comprehensive care for patients with movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, atypical parkinsonism, essential tremor, dystonia, Huntington's disease, and other complex movement disorders.

The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient care and innovation, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques and a full spectrum of treatment options, including deep brain stimulation (DBS) and emerging therapies. Candidates will have the opportunity to mentor residents and medical students within our vibrant residency program of 24 trainees and to participate in clinical or translational research advancing the field of movement disorders. A faculty appointment commensurate with experience and qualifications, with full faculty status at the University of Arizona, will be provided.

  • Data management and statistical support resources

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree (or equivalent)
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology and fellowship training in Movement Disorders
  • Eligibility for an Arizona medical license
  • Commitment to teaching, patient care excellence, and scholarly activity
