Position Overview:
SLUCare Physician Group is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Child Neurologist to join our Division of Child Neurology at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. This faculty position supports both inpatient and outpatient care for children with neurologic disorders affecting the nervous system. The role is primarily focused on general child neurology, with opportunities to support subspecialty interests in neurodevelopment, headache, and neuro-oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inpatient service approximately every 6–7 weeks, including morning rounds, afternoon fellow clinic staffing, and home call coverage with resident support.
  • Outpatient clinic-based care during non-service weeks: 8 half-day clinics per week, including 1–2 half-days at outreach sites within 30 miles of Cardinal Glennon.
  • Support the teaching mission of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, including education of medical students, pediatric residents, pediatric neurology fellows, and adult neurology residents.

Work Schedule:

  • On service: 5-day work week with inpatient rounding, fellow clinic, and home call (one full week including weekend).
  • Off service: Outpatient clinic-based work (80–85%), including outreach clinics.

Qualifications:

  • Board eligible or board certified in Child Neurology.
  • Strong clinical training and experience.
  • Interest in academic medicine and teaching.
