6- Month Primary Care Coverage In San Luis Obispo County

We are seeking maternity coverage for a flexible 6-month assignment at the fastest-growing FQHC in California. Extendable upon preference, this high- paying opportunity has the option for a 4-day workweek, with no night shifts, weekends, or on-call duties. Located in San Luis Obispo, you will have time to explore a sunny coastal community with local shops, restaurants, and avenues for outdoor recreation.

Requirements & Credentials:

• Board-certified or board eligible Family Medicine physician
• BLS and DEA certifications required

Schedule:

• Immediate start upon credentialing, with a flexible 6-month assignment with the ability to extend
• Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the option for a 4-day workweek
• No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities

Practice Setting:

• New evaluations are typically 30 minutes per patient, while follow-up appointments are 15 minutes
• 20-23 scheduled visits per day with no walk-ins
• No hospital rounding is required, allowing you to focus solely on outpatient care
• Recently awarded over a million dollars in grants to expand services and support the community's needs

• Tavel and lodging are provided (mileage or rental car and hotel)
