How you'll make an impact in this role
Ascension Medical Group is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist for our group in Suburban Indianapolis. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.
* Join an established team of anesthesiologists and APPs
* Practice setting: Inpatient
* Call required-Monday to Friday with a weekend and holiday call rotation. Call Schedule: q5- Call required, post call day off when fully staffed. Post call day off when fully staffed
* CRNA medical supervision model
* Unrestricted call with 30 min response time
* Bread & butter cases
* No cardiac or neotatal
* Includes OB and ortho
* Main OR and ASC coverage
* Access to tenured and collegial team
* Employed position within a nonprofit health system
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
* Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure and DEA registration
* Drive quality and cost-effectiveness initiatives to continuously improve patient care outcomes.
* Accept patient referrals from fellow physicians to support a collaborative network of care.
* Serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician for hospitalized patients based on clinical and facility needs.

What minimum requirements you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
